This year, Luke decided he wanted to be a ninja. Leo decided he wanted to be a T-Rex, which was convenient as he just used Luke's costume from a couple years ago. Though we didn't seem to hit too many houses for Trick-or-Treat, the boys were efficient and came back with a lot of candy. I think they finally finished it only a week ago or so.
The boys also had some fun dressing up in other costumes. Here's a classic from Luke:

The Latest from Scott
It's been a while since we've had a Scott update on here. He's doing well, definitely growing healthy and strong! At his 2 month appointment, he was in the 95% percentile for both height and weight. He'll have his 4 month appointment next week, so we'll see if he's kept up with that pace. After a great start the first couple months, he's turned into a not-so-great sleeper. He's conditioned us into thinking 45 minutes is a good nap for him, a far cry (no pun intended) from what we had grown used to with Luke and Leo. Here are some pictures from the last couple months:

Leo's Birthday!
Leo is 3! Well, he's been 3 for a few weeks now. I let the blog slip a little bit the last 6 weeks, so I thought I needed to at least get in Leo's birthday before he was halfway to 4.
Leo's birthday started with the traditional breakfast with Daddy at IHOP.
Then for dinner, Leo decided he wanted to go to the restaurant with the apple on the sign (i.e., Applebee's). My parents came to town for the weekend and joined us for dinner. Since Leo's birthday was on a Friday, we waited until Saturday to have his actual "party." He picked hot dogs and mac & cheese for his birthday meal, then had a construction cake with strawberry ice cream. He scored lots of great toys - the standard 3 year old boy variety: trucks, cars, legos, etc. A good time had by all.

Big Boy Helpers
Just by coincidence, we seemed to end up with several pictures of Luke and Leo helping us out in the kitchen recently. We're putting those boys to work!
Grandma Riddles came to town for a few days as well to help us out. Speaking of people getting put to work, the boys kept her busy!
And of course, no blog post would be complete without the latest from Scott. He's been smiling a lot more lately!

A Fun Week for Luke
Luke had a big week, too. First, he started his first full week of preschool. He really likes it so far, and we think it'll be a great experience for him this year. Yesterday, he had his first day of soccer. He's on the "purple" team, and has been really excited about it since we signed him up last month. He had a lot of fun, they "practiced" for the first 45 minutes or so and then had a game at the end. Luke scored the first goal in the game and his team won 3-1. He was pretty proud of that. Afterwards, I took him to the Indians game. It was dollar dog night and we took full advantage of that - I think Luke had 4 hot dogs!
One Month Old!
Scott turned one month old this past week! He celebrated by sleeping for 7.5 hours straight last night, hopefully he'll keep that up. We really can't complain about anything so far, though, he's been a really good baby. Without further ado, here are a few "one month" pictures:
